This week we had Trunk or Treat at the church. From left to right, Emily is a devil, Madeline is an angel, Faith (neighbor two doors down) is a geisha, and Jessica is a cupcake with a cherry on top. We had an excellent turn out, better than ever this year, and the kids all had a blast. The weather was perfect. Joanne is a craft costume maker. Emily even had a forked tail.
On Saturday morning, we woke up to an unexpected snowfall of about five inches.
The girls couldn't wait to get out and play in it.
They made a whole family of snowmen (and women). Five to be exact. Madeline delighted in making snowballs bigger than she could roll.
I didn't get a photo, but after about two hours of cold and wet, everyone came in for hot chocolate.
