This was Joanne's favorite fireworks stand during the Fourth of July. That gorilla's got class!
This was the dashboard of our car this week. It actually read 108 degrees before I took this photo. Now I know some of the St. George family is thinking "big deal", but you've got to remember that we northerners aren't used to this kind of heat.
On the morning of the 4th, our ward had a big outdoor breakfast.
After the breakfast we went to Joanne's friend's house. She lives along the Caldwell City parade route and they host a big parade watching and lunch party each year. I'm not much for parades, but the food was good. This photo is of the parade color guard at the beginning.
Getting ready to enjoy our post-parade picnic lunch.
No Fourth of July would be complete without fireworks. We did a few boxes of sparklers, some flower bombs, and a few fountains. The neighbors put on a bigger show for us to watch.
