This week Emily and Jessica had Girls Camp in the mountains east of Boise. The theme was 'You are Loved', so they did a lot of hugging. Jessica's head is kind of in the middle of this group hug.
Did I mention they did a lot of hugging?
We had unseasonably hard rains while the girls were gone. They got soaked and so did their stuff. But they kept a pretty good attitude about it. Meanwhile, down here in the valley, we enjoyed one of the warm and sunny afternoons by floating the Boise River, which was flowing very well after the rain.
Here's Joanne paddling her boat.
This week our extended family celebrated a new addition -- Aunt Jennifer had her baby a little over a week early. This is Adrienne, born July 10.

5 July 2015 - Independence Day
This was Joanne's favorite fireworks stand during the Fourth of July. That gorilla's got class!
This was the dashboard of our car this week. It actually read 108 degrees before I took this photo. Now I know some of the St. George family is thinking "big deal", but you've got to remember that we northerners aren't used to this kind of heat.
On the morning of the 4th, our ward had a big outdoor breakfast.
After the breakfast we went to Joanne's friend's house. She lives along the Caldwell City parade route and they host a big parade watching and lunch party each year. I'm not much for parades, but the food was good. This photo is of the parade color guard at the beginning.
Getting ready to enjoy our post-parade picnic lunch.
No Fourth of July would be complete without fireworks. We did a few boxes of sparklers, some flower bombs, and a few fountains. The neighbors put on a bigger show for us to watch.

28 June 2015 - Father's Day and Moving Out
One last jump on the trampoline before it is dismantled for the move to Utah.
Father's Day gifts with a mad photobomb from Madeline.
Amazing double chocolate Reese's Pieces Father's Day cake.
Packing up the house for the move out.
Lots of work, but everybody pitched in to be ready for the movers to come.
After a long week of packing and moving into storage (our Utah house won't be ready to move in until October or November), we settled in for a month with Aunt Kathy. She had a birthday and Shaylee made her a cake for a little celebration.
