Grandma always has fun things for the kids to do. Here's Emily having a whack at the pinata.
Petting the snake at the Bean Museum animal show at BYU.
On Tuesday, our last day in Utah, we were going to do something outdoorsy, but the weather didn't cooperate (see below), so we went bowling instead.
On June 17th in Utah County, this is what the dashboard of our car reported.
When the clouds cleared a little bit, snow had covered Mt. Timpanogos. We figured the snow line was between 6,500 and 7,000 feet.
We had promised the girls we'd take them for Rita's Italian Ice, so despite the cold weather, we bundled up and made good. Madeline even used her mustache straw from her Slurpee.
We came back to Idaho on Wednesday, and on Saturday went to Twin Falls for a swim meet. Here's Jessica on the backstroke, neck and neck with the competition. She pulled away on the last 50 and won the event.
Both girls had a great meet.
While we were in town, we went to see Shoshone Falls.
It was a toasty warm and bright sunny day.
