Jessica is on the high school swim team this fall. The first team meet of the season was on Saturday. She swam well, winning the 100 Free and taking second in the 100 Back. Her relay team also won the 4x100 Free but were disqualified for a false start.
Joanne has been working on a new quilt. This is a princess and the pea quilt for Madeline.

14 September 2014 - College Football
This weekend marked the first home football game for The College of Idaho in 37 year. In 1977, after years of financial difficulty, the college cancelled its football program. This year it was brought back; we went as a family and watched the students beat Montana-Western, 31-28.
It was a sunny, warm (hot) day. The excitement was intense and he had a grand day out.
There was a stake Laurel/Priest activity this week at the Stake President's house. Joanne went since she's the Young Women's president in the ward.

7 September 2014 - Labor Day
Labor Day weekend marked the return of students to The College of Idaho. On Friday evening, I was invited to give the faculty address at convocation.
On Saturday, I started a project that's needed to be done since we moved in. I started building a shed in the back yard.
We also had a visit this weekend from Aunt Amy who came to stay for a few days from Utah.
